Specifically designed for women, the fit and performance of the women’s FORGE offers female trekkers the ultimate experience for long days on the trail. Features Nubuck leather, all the innovative technologies and is built around a fully anatomical women’s specific last. This last is built around the shape of the female foot with reduced volume in the heel, forefoot and instep areas as well as women specific positioning of the malleolar pads. The C.A.S. customizable footbed is also pre-shaped on a women’s last further enhancing the performance and comfort. The result is a great out-of-the box fit. The customization capabilities fine-tune the fit especially addressing those who need more foot and heel hold eliminating the pain and blistering that results from shoes that are not lasted for women

THE OVERALAP DESIGN Inspired from ski boot design, we created a new construction that allows us to attain the maximum comfort and performance from our anatomical last and customization features. Instead of a classic tongue construction, we removed all excess materials and pressure points from the medial malleolar pad and created an innovative overlap collar design. - Relieves pressure points on the larger and more sensitive medial malleolar pad - Allows more space for customization inserts on the inner malleolar pad, where there is usually the widest variation in foot shapes - The new anatomical overlap design perfectly matches the anatomic last - Elastic fabric and Gore-Tex® lining on the collar area allows easy step-in SELF-LOCKING LACE DESIGN We designed a new lacing solution that matches with our anatomic fit. THE ULTIMATE ANATOMICAL LAST
We wanted to create a new, out-of-the box fit experience that is both comfortable and precise. To achieve this goal, we designed a unique last, which is a true mirror of the foot. With its fully anatomical shape, this new last delivers unparalleled fit and allows Tecnica to pre-shape the FORGE and FORGE S with anatomical precision. STANDARD TREKKING LAST: All outdoor boots are designed and built around a generic last. Each brand has a different solution; each searching to accommodate the widest range of feet. TECNICA’S ANATOMICAL LAST: We created a true, fully anatomical last, including malleolar pads and a fully supportive arch. As the last is the starting point for every shoe, this unique approach allowed us to create a new generation of Trekking boots - completely anatomical, pre-shaped, precise, supportive and comfortable. - Anatomically supportive arch and consequently anatomically supportive foot-bed - Anatomically shaped ankle with malleolar pads for a fully pre-shaped cuff
ADAPTIVE SOLE DESIGN
A unique bottom unit; inspired by nature, designed for nature. The oversized lugs are reversed to increase the contact of the rubber with the surface. In combination with a triple density midsole, the lugs move and conform to the variations found in outdoor terrain.
